Sources informed Rasid the Criminal Intelligence arrested on Friday Shaikh Ali Al-Khalifa (40 years) i a continuation to the sectarian campaign that claimed many Shia citizens. On the same day, authorities arrested a young man Murtadha Hussain Al-Harbi (18 years) joining tens of detainees from Al-Rumaila village who were arrested for taking part in religious activities. Al-Khalifa is an active cleric in Al-Rumaila village, Al-Hassa. Saudi authorities released also early this week two young men Hashim Al-Ali and Oun Al-Ali who were arrested last week for taking part in religious activities during Ashura. Arrests campaign started again after Ramadan following a silent period. All arrests made were ordered by Al-Hassa Governor, Bader bin Jalawi. Al-Hasa is facing sectarian harassment and arbitrary detentions against Shia citizens for the past five years where tens of mosques, worship houses and religious schools were closed amid a silent official media human rights committees. /106
