Mamosta Sheikholeslam was shot martyred by a group of unknown armed terrorists after evening and night prayers at Seyed Qutb Mosque west of Sanandaj.
He received two bullets at the head and was hence instantly martyred.
Based on latest reports, body of the cleric is kept at local Bethat Hospital.
