Iran Condemns Terrorist Attack on Shiite Shrine in Salahuddin

The Iranian foreign ministry deplored on Friday the terrorist attack against a Shiite shrine in Salahuddin province, Northern Baghdad, which killed at least 35 people.

AhlulBayt News Agency - Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Qassemi strongly condemned the "shameful" terrorist attack, and extended his condolences to the Iraqi government and nation, specially the families who lost their loved ones in the heinous crime.

The spokesman called on the international community to take collective action and become united to stop the insane acts of Takfiri terrorists.

The ISIL claimed responsibility for a triple suicide attack on Thursday evening near a Shiite mausoleum North of Baghdad that killed at least 35 people and wounded 60 others.

The attack was launched on the mausoleum of Seyed Muhammad bin Ali al-Hadi, the son of Shiites' 10th Imam.
