AhlulBayt News Agency - The Russian aircraft carrier known as the “Admiral Kuznetsov” is expected to arrive at the Syrian port-city of Tartous on July 1st, 2016 with MiG-29 Ka, Su-25, and Su-33 fighter jets.
According to the Russian media the Russian will use this aircraft carrier to launch airstrikes against ISIS without having to rely on the Hmaymim Airbase in Jableh City.
Currently, the Admiral Kuznetsov is being repaired before making its long journey to the Mediterranean Sea.
