The Syrian Army launched a new assault to seize the strategic hilltop village of Tal Sawwan in the East Ghouta region of rural Damascus.
So far, the Syrian Armed Forces have seized 75% of the hilltop after a violent battle with Jaysh Al-Islam (Army of Islam).
The Syrian Armed Forces killed a confirmed 17 members of Jaysh Al-Islam near Tal Sawwan on Sunday.
This is area is very important to the Syrian Armed Forces because of its proximity to the last rebel supply route in East Ghouta.
