AhlulBayt News Agency - An elderly Palestinian man was injured while dozens more suffered effects of excessive tear gas inhalation when Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) suppressed weekly marches in the West Bank villages of Bi’lin, Ni’lin, and Kafr Qaddum.

In Ramallah, clashes erupted when Israeli forces suppressed Bi’lin peaceful march with teargas bombs.

Dozens of activists suffered effects of excessive tear gas inhalation during the protest including foreign activists.

The protesters waved during the march Palestinian and Algerian flags, and chanted slogans condemning terrorism around the world.

Local activist Abdullah Abu Rahmeh said that "Israeli terrorism is not different from any other terrorism across the world.”

Killing, destroying homes, confiscating lands, and displacing Palestinians are a systematic policy that the Israeli occupation authority is carrying out every day, he added.

Similar clashes broke out in Ni’lin town when Israeli forces suppressed the anti-occupation weekly march in the town.

Local homes, commercial shops, and vehicles were all targeted with teargas bombs during the clashes, local sources said.

In Qalqilia, a 68-year-old Palestinian man was hit in the head with a rubber-coated steel bullet while dozens others suffered effects of tear gas inhalation when the IOF suppressed Kafer Qaddum weekly march.

Local activist Murad Shtewei affirmed that Israeli forces fired rubber-coated steel bullets, tear gas canisters, stun grenades, and skunk water on protesters as they marched in the village after Friday prayers.

He identified the elderly injured man as Taysir Shtewei, 68, saying that he was hit in his head by a stray rubber-coated steel bullet while he was in his yard outside his home.
