The IS-linked Sharia Court in the Iraqi city of Mosul sentenced four Muslim clerics to death for refusing to comply with the regulations of the terrorist group.
“ISIS executed four clerics in central Mosul on Friday, claiming they showed a hostile behavior to the caliphate by refusing to apply official orders,” Ahmed Sebai, an eyewitness, said in Mosul.
“Omar Barakat, Nazem al-Naimi, Duraid Sammak and Mohammed al-Dabbagh are well known clerics who tried to call on people to revolt against the rule of ISIS in Mosul. That’s why the group decided to execute them,” the source reported.
Meanwhile, militants of the ISIS blew up five residential buildings in the Qayyarah sub-district south of Mosul, under the pretext that the buildings belonged to families of Iraqi army officers, local sources said on Saturday.
