Ahlul Bayt News Agency - Dozens of foreign-backed Takfiri militants were killed in military operations targeting their positions in the Syrian province of Lattakia, Western Syria, on Friday.
"Over 110 Al-Nusra terrorists, most of them non-Syrians, were killed in the Syrian army's operations in the village of Shalaf," said a Syrian military source on Saturday, Iranian Fars News reported.
The army destroyed a number of hideouts of the Al-Nusra terrorists in Shalaf village 50 kilometers away from the city of Lattakia.
Earlier, the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group conducted a suicide attack against the rival Al-Nusra Front in the province of Idlib in Northwestern Syria, killing tens of militants and injuring dozens more.

Over 60 Al-Nusra Front terrorists were killed in ISIL's suicide attack on Salem mosque in Ariha region.
"Abu Hazifeh al-Tunesi, the commander of the Al-Nusra Front in Ariha region, was among the terrorists killed in Salem mosque," a Syrian military source said.
The clashes between Al-Nusra Front and the ISIL have prompted 60,000 people to flee towns in some regions in Syria.
Reports suggest that thousands of militants on both sides have so far been killed in the internecine clashes.
The ISIL Takfiri terrorists currently control shrinking swathes of Syria and Iraq. They have threatened all communities, including Shiites, Sunnis, Kurds, Christians, Ezadi Kurds and others, as they continue their atrocities in Iraq.
Senior Iraqi officials have blamed Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and some Persian Gulf Arab states for the growing terrorism in their country.
The ISIL has links with Saudi intelligence and is believed to be indirectly supported by the Israeli regime.
