Women’s Panel at the 6th Al-Quds Congress Highlights Global Resistance and Palestinian Struggle

The Women’s Panel of the 6th Al-Quds Congress, titled “Hasten to Al-Quds”, gathered over 70 women activists from 16 countries in Tehran. The event addressed women’s role in resistance, inspired by Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and Lady Zaynab (a.s.). Speakers denounced Zionist crimes in Gaza, emphasizing global solidarity.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Women’s Panel of the 6th International Congress on Holy Quds, titled “Hasten to Al-Quds,” was organized by the International Affairs Department of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly in collaboration with the Qadimun World Assembly.

The conference was held at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly headquarters in Tehran, with the participation of more than 70 active women from Lebanon, Syria, Palestine, Yemen, Bahrain, Nigeria, Tanzania, the United States, Mexico, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, France, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Indonesia.

This gathering took place at a time when the Zionist regime, after a year and a half of aggression against Gaza, has once again intensified its attacks on this sacred land, martyring women and children. In this critical period, the necessity of vigilance, awareness, and the defense of these oppressed yet steadfast figures of the Islamic world by intellectuals and free thinkers across the globe is undeniable.

The Women’s Panel of the 6th Holy Quds Congress was held with the following themes:

1. Imam Khomeini (r.a.) and the Model of Committed Women’s Participation in Various Social Arenas

2. Globalizing the Resistance Model of Muslim Women Inspired by Lady Zaynab (a.s.)

3. The Role of Palestinian Muslim Women in Narrating and Exposing the Zionist Enemy’s Oppression, Injustice, and Violence

4. Hope, Motivation, and the Legendary Spirit of Women in the Resistance and Its Role in Achieving Victory

5. Strength and Perseverance in Muslim Women’s Struggle (The Phoenix in Multiplication)

Following the recitation of the Quran and a video clip featuring the Supreme Leader’s remarks on the role of Gaza’s resistance in affirming the legitimacy of the Resistance Axis, the event commenced with a welcome address by Dr. Ruknabadi, Advisor to the Deputy for International Affairs and Head of Women and Family Affairs at the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

Further, Hojat al-Islam Moinian, Deputy for International Affairs of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and Hojat al-Islam Bagheri, Director of the Qadimun Global Assembly, delivered speeches.

Following their remarks, women from various countries shared their perspectives on the panel’s key themes:

* Ms. Hajja Taghrid Jouni, cultural activist from Lebanon

* Dr. Halima Hosseini, head of the Seminary of Lady Maryam (s.a.) in Afghanistan

* Dr. Aslani, director of the Women’s and Family Research Institute at Imam Hussain (a.s.) University

* Amina Aygun Ilgarova from Georgia (video conference)

* Dr. Elham Shakeri, cultural and media activist from Bahrain

* Dr. Rahaf Abu Taha, medical student and cultural activist from Palestine

* Salma Alwis Azadimansh, cultural activist from Syria

* Fatima Hassan Nasser, student and cultural activist from Tanzania

* Dr. Lara Hamdaniyah, cultural activist from Lebanon

* Hanan, student and cultural activist from Yemen

* Dr. Sari Muhammad Wardani, cultural activist from Indonesia

At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Wajiha Zahra Naqvi, director of Jamiat Khadija Al-Kubra in Mianwali, Pakistan, read the final statement.

It is worth mentioning that in a symbolic act inspired by the steadfast Palestinian women, three attendees prepared Maqluba (Palestinian Food) and displayed the Palestinian flag, expressing their hope for the downfall of the Zionist regime.

The Women’s Panel of the 6th Al-Quds Congress concluded with a collective recitation of Dua Al-Faraj and prayers for the ultimate victory of the Resistance Axis.
