AhlulBayt News Agency: Secretary-General of the Asa'ib Ahl Al-Haq Movement Qais Al-Khazali has rejected the dissolution of the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF).
During the program “Under Two Lines” aired on Al-Iraqiya News TV on Sunday, Al-Khazali highlighted the significance of national interests for Iraq, according to the Iraqi News Agency.
The weapons of the resistance groups in Iraq are under control, he said, noting that the groups defend the national sovereignty.
Al-Khazali further emphasized that disarming resistance groups could weaken Iraq's defense capability.
In one of their latest anti-terrorist operation in the western regions of Anbar province, the PMF has destroyed 11 secret tunnels used by ISIS elements.
