The festival is organized by the University and School Relations Division of the public relations department at the Al-Abbas's (p) threshold, as part of the National Al-Kafeel Youth Project.
The head of the Department of Intellectual and Cultural Affairs at the holy shrine; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said: "the general secretariat of the Al-Abbas's (p) holy shrine is holding the third edition of the festival (Az-Zaki al-Tahir) in celebration of the birth anniversary of the Kareem Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them); Imam al-Hassan al-Mojtaba (peace be upon him).
He added that"the festival was held in the presence of a number of students of public and private universities in the capital Baghdad, and witnessed the honoring of female students wearing the Islamic Abaya inside the university campus".
For his part, Sayed Ahmed al-Yasiri, one of the staff of the public relations department, said: "the festival in its third edition is organized by the University and School Relations Division of the department in cooperation with the university students' gathering in Baghdad."
He added that"various events will take place during the festival, including poems and chants for a group of poets and Radoods, as well as a cultural lecture by Sheikh Abdul Sahib al-Taie".
