"For 20 years we have been thinking about making a walking trip from India to Mecca, passing through Iran and Iraq to visit the holy shrines,"said Mr. Shahbaz.
"We have traveled 6000 km since we started from the state of Bihar in India, until reaching Iraq and completing the visit to the shrines of the infallible imams(peace be upon them), in Baghdad, Najaf, Karbala and Samarra, and the journey took about five and a half months,"he added.
"We will complete our trip to Mecca at the end of December to perform Umrah and try to perform the Hajj, and pray for peace to prevail in all Muslim countries," he said, noting that "their trip included many risks, but their desire to continue the march towards the Holy Karbala was greater than that."
He explained that"the aim of this is to give a real picture of the Islamic religion and the doctrine of Ahl al-Bayt(peace be upon them), and to send messages of love and peace to the whole world".
The two visitors thanked the Al-Abbas's(p) holy shrine for the attention they received when they visited the shrine of Aba al-Fadl al-Abbas (peace be upon him), and for providing various services that facilitate them to perform the ceremonies of the Ziyarat.
