AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli Minister of Heritage Amichai Eliyahu has said that in the ongoing war with the Hamas terrorist group, "one of the possible options" for Israel is dropping a nuclear bomb on the Gaza Strip.
A member of the Otzma Yehudit party in Israel, Eliyahu made these statements during a radio interview.
Palestine's Hamas reacted to these words.
"The statements of the so-called Minister of Heritage in the occupying government, that dropping the atomic bomb on Gaza is an option, reflects the unprecedented terrorism that this government and those around it are perpetrating against our nation of Palestine. This terrorism is a danger to the entire region and the world," Islamic Resistance Movement Spokesman said.
The death toll from Israeli bombardments in the Gaza Strip has risen to 9,500, with well over half of them women and children, the government media office in the Gaza Strip announced on Saturday.
