The organization of the council was supervised by the Department of Hussayni Rituals, Processions and Bodies in Iraq and the Islamic world affiliated with the holy shrines of Imam al-Hussayn and al-Abbas (peace be upon them).
The council was held on Qibla Gate Street, and began with the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran.
The head of the Department; Sayed Aqeel al-Yasiri, said that the council was attended by Sheikh Ali al-Shukri, discussing the auspicious biography of Hamza Ibn Abdul Muttalib (peace be upon him), and also included the participation of the Husseini Radood Mullah Ammar al-Kenani in reading hymns and poems in love with the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them), and was attended by a group of owners and servants of Husseini processions and parties, dignitaries of the city of Karbala, and the servants of the two holy shrines.
He added that the council witnessed interaction by the followers and lovers of Ahl Al-Bayt (peace be upon them), recalling the great positions of Master Hamza Ibn Abdul Muttalib (peace be upon him).
