AhlulBayt News Agency: Sheikh Ekrima Sabri, the preacher of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, on Saturday called on the Palestinian youths to intensify their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
In a press statement on the anniversary of Prophet Muhammad's Isra and Mi'raj journey, Sheikh Sabri stressed that the al-Quds citizens will always be deep-rooted in their holy city, reiterating the importance of confronting the repeated Israeli attacks against the Palestinian people, lands, and holy sites.
Earlier today, Israeli police intensified their presence in the vicinity of the Al-Aqsa Mosque and Bab Al-Amoud area, preventing Palestinian citizens from reaching the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Bab Al-Amoud area where the anniversary is celebrated.
Calls have been renewed on Palestinian youths to intensify their presence in the Al-Aqsa Mosque in order to foil the Israeli Judaization plans.
For her part, the al-Quds citizen activist Khadija Khweis had called for exerting more efforts in protecting and defending the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
