AhlulBayt News Agency: Israeli police on Saturday blocked the Bab al-Amud courtyard in Occupied al-Quds ( Jerusalem), attacking and arresting Palestinian citizens, who were celebrating the Prophet Mohammed’s birthday or Mawlid.
Local sources reported that the measure came to quell an event organized in Occupied al-Quds to celebrate Prophet Mohammad's Birthday.
Israeli police arrested and injured Palestinian young men in the Bab al-Sahira area, in addition to attacking Palestinian citizens while they were watching Scout bands that marched through the streets of al-Quds to celebrate the occasion.
The bands headed from al-Zahra’ Street to Salah Ad-Din Street and the Bab al-Amud area, and then to the courtyards of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
