In another video, his three daughters appeared surrounding him and crying.
"These are my girls, my beloved ones. For them, for my homeland, my beloved ones, for the free world, I sacrifice my body. I sacrifice my flesh and bones for the sake of freedom and dignity," Awawda said in the video.
It has been nearly 200 days since Palestinian prisoner Khalil Awawda began his hunger strike in protest at his administrative detention in an Israeli jail for an indefinite time without charge or trial.
With every passing day, as his health deteriorates, the 41-year-old father is at imminent risk of death.
New photos released recently showed Awawda's skeletal body as his health reached a critical stage.
He finds it hard to talk and cannot move without a wheelchair.
On 21 June 2022, Awawda decided to suspend his 111 days of hunger strike, before resuming it after Israel u-turned on their pledge to end his administrative detention.
An Israeli court recently froze his administrative detention, refusing his release.
In turn, Awawda decided to continue his hunger strike as he valiantly demands release from his illegal imprisonment.
