AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): 1,100 Palestinians from the West Bank were arrested by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) since the start of 2022, 300 of them arrested last March.
The number of arrests since the beginning of 2022 constitutes fifty percent of last year’s total number of arrests which was 2,200, according to Walla Hebrew news website on Tuesday.
The IOF intensified its arrest campaigns in northern West Bank, especially in Nablus and Jenin, claiming that they fear further shooting operations.
About 4,500 Palestinian prisoners are held in Israeli prisons, distributed among 23 Israeli prisons and detention centers. They are systematically subjected to abuse, violations, and brutal attacks.
