Over 100 extremist settlers raid western Ramallah

Dozens of settlers stormed on Sunday the Mount Al-Alam area, which is threatened with seizure, in Ni’lin town, west of Ramallah, and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) vehicles bulldozed 300 dunums in its vicinity.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Dozens of settlers stormed on Sunday the Mount Al-Alam area, which is threatened with seizure, in Ni’lin town, west of Ramallah, and the Israeli occupation authority (IOA) vehicles bulldozed 300 dunums in its vicinity.

Imad al-Khawaja, Ni'lin mayor, said in press statements that more than 100 settlers, under the protection of the Israeli occupation forces (IOF), raided Mount Al-Alam in order to establish a new settlement outpost.

He said that since the early morning hours, the IOA bulldozers razed 300 dunums of citizens' lands in the vicinity of the mountain. The townspeople went to the area to repel the attack of the IOF soldiers and settlers, he added.
