For 3rd day in row, Yemeni Air Force conducts attack on Abha Int’l Airport

The Air Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees has carried out retaliatory attacks against Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern region of Asir.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Air Force of the Yemeni Army and Popular Committees has carried out retaliatory attacks against Abha International Airport in Saudi Arabia’s southwestern region of Asir.

“The Air Force has targeted Abha International Airport again for the third day in a row, with a number of Qasif-2K drones,” Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e announced on Wednesday.

Brigadier Sare’e clarified that the Air Force had targeted military and sensitive targets inside the airport.

“The drone attack struck the designated targets with great precisions, thanks to God,” he added.

He added that the airstrikes come within Yemen’s legitimate right to respond to the Saudi-led coalition’s devastating military campaign, its crimes and all-out blockade.

The Air Force had targeted, at dawn Tuesday, Abha airport with a squadron of domestically-manufactured Sammad-3 combat drones, causing accurate injuries.

Sare’e reiterated that Yemeni attacks will continue to strike deep inside Saudi Arabia as long as the Riyadh regime presses ahead with its deadly aggression and siege.

In the same regards, a Saudi newspaper reported news about the issuance of a directive from the Southern Sector Command and Operations Center (SOC) to stop air traffic at Abha airport, following the Yemeni Air Force’s attack.

Later, the newspaper was forced to remove the news from its website and its Twitter page.
