Surge in Production achieved with hope for future, creating peace, stability in society

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Iran's President described people's awareness about the important achievements of the government in the development and great successes in the administration of the country in the difficult conditions of sanctions and economic war of the enemies, as well as the outbreak of coronavirus, as imperative and stressed, "Strengthening of foundations and creation of strong infrastructure in the country's economy is the result of the government's relentless efforts between years 2014 and 2017, which failed the ill-wishers to achieve the sinister goals of imposing crippling and comprehensive sanctions."

Speaking on Tuesday in a meeting with ministers and managers of the country's infrastructure and production sector with the aim of clarifying government's achievements to realise surge in production, Dr Hassan Rouhani said that clarifying the government's achievements without exaggeration and away from unrealistic propaganda is a necessary step and all ministers and officials should seize the opportunity to commemorate government's week to inform people about the services of this government in various sectors, especially in the development and increase of agricultural and industrial production.

Dr Rouhani added, "People should know that after the withdrawal of the United States from the JCPOA and the imposition of maximum pressure, this government was able to prove resilience with people's cooperation and reduce the harmful effects of sanctions, and that the government has had acceptable performance in combatting coronavirus compared with many countries".

Emphasising that denying the achievements of the government is not ignoring the achievements of a president or a minister, but denying the achievements of the holy system of the Islamic Republic, the President said, "Denying the achievements of the government is a misconception that some insist on for political gain, while propagating the achievements of the government is explaining the achievements of the whole system".

Dr Rouhani described the description of the achievements and successes as encouraging the increase of hope in the people and encouraging more entrepreneurs, economic activists and business owners and added, "With the measures that have been taken to remove barriers to business, the production cycle of the country will accelerate and we will see a boom in production and the realisation of the slogan of 'Surge in Production' in the country".

The President emphasised, "Expressing the great successes and achievements of the system will disappoint those who have imposed sanctions and create hope for our dear people who have resisted the conspiracies of the enemies and played an important role in the success of the system and the country with the help and support of the government".
