Head of the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) Yusif al-Maqdah in a letter to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei extended his condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, blaming the Saudi-based Neom operations room for the crime.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Head of the Palestine Liberation Front (PLF) Yusif al-Maqdah in a letter to Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei extended his condolences over the martyrdom of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, blaming the Saudi-based Neom operations room for the crime.

The PLF leader in his letter said that “assassination of the Iranian nuclear and defense scientist was carried out by the Neom operations room in Saudi Arabia under the supervision of the US foreign minister, the Zionist regime’s prime minister and the Saudi crown prince and intelligence apparatus”.

He underlined the necessity for probing the terrorist attack with the international bodies, blasting the UN, UNSC, human rights council, etc. for keeping mum on the crime.

Al-Maqdah voiced certainty that despite the pains and sufferings left by the assassination attempt, the Islamic Republic of Iran would be able to continue its scientific progress.

The resistance groups in the region in separate statements had condemned the Friday assassination of Fakhrizadeh, stressing support for Iran's right to take revenge for his martyrdom.

“We all trust the power of Iran and the nation to make up for this loss, and we know that with more effort and progress, the monopoly of the arrogant powers on power components and scientific progress in the region will be broken,” the Palestinian resistance group, Hamas, said in a statement.

Also the Islamic Jihad Movement deplored the terrorist attack, noting that the footprints of Israel and the US are clearly seen in the crime.

Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh's car was targeted by an explosion and machinegun fire in Damavand's Absard 40 kilometers to the East of Tehran on Friday.

The nuclear scientist and one of his companions were immediately taken to a nearby hospital but he could not be saved.
