A congress marking the 50th anniversary of the passing of Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Milani opened on Thursday in Mashhad with a message from Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei.
Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei has described the late Grand Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hadi Milani as a truly multifaceted figure in spiritual, moral, scholarly, and socio-political terms, stressing that he “really was the reviver of the Mashhad seminary.”
A commemoration congress has been scheduled for December 25 in Mashhad to mark the 50th anniversary of Ayat. Milani’s passing, highlighting his scientific, social, and political legacy.

The event took place at the Sheikh Tabarsi Hall of the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi in Mashhad.

The Imamate Center was inaugurated under the patronage of Ayatollah Milani under the name “The Center for the Great Imamate of the World for Doctrinal Studies” (مرکز الامامة الکبری العالمی للدراسات العقائدیة) in the city of Najaf Ashraf.
On the occasion of Muharram, Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Hosseini Milani issued a heartfelt statement calling on the faithful to intensify their prayers and mourning rituals during this sacred time, especially for the reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance), the protection of the Islamic Republic, and the well-being of its leadership.
