ABWA’s advice to the Madagascan Shiite clergy

While referring to the conditions for obtaining Islamic Ma’arifah, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “According to a hadith, when a person observes the divine manners and becomes adorned with divine attributes, then he will find the merit and competence to be entrusted with religion. Learning, teaching, and action should all be for God.”

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): During his visit to Madagascar, Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly visited various parts of the Dar al-Hikma Center of the country, headed by Mr. Reza Ali Hirji, including the seminary and university.

In the following, a ceremony was held in the prayer hall of the Dar al-Hikma Center with the presence of special guests: Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Javad Shahrestani, representative of Grand Ayatollah Sistani, Hojat al-Islam Sayed Murtaza Murtaza, a member of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

At the beginning of this ceremony, which was held with the large presence of the clerics of Dar al-Hikma Center, a Quranic program was performed with the presence of Mohammad Ali Eslami, a prominent memorizer of the Holy Quran. Then Hojat al-Islam Sayed Murtaza Murtaza and Ayatollah Reza Ramazani gave speeches.

In his speech, while referring to the conditions for obtaining Islamic Ma’arifah, Ayatollah Ramazani stated, “According to a hadith, when a person observes the divine manners and becomes adorned with divine attributes, then he will find the merit and competence to be entrusted with religion. Learning, teaching, and action should all be for God.”

“According to our teacher Allameh Javadi Amoli, politeness is of three types. He said that politeness should be observed with oneself, with others in dealing with them, and with God. According to him, if a person wants to educate himself, this education is through politeness. Purification of the heart is done with politeness,” he continued.

“As Quranic verses say, we should have a deep understanding of religion (Islam), and think, contemplate, and reflect on the verses of the Holy Quran. We should measure our actions with the standard of the Holy Quran to see whether we live according to the Quran or not. In introducing her father, the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), Lady Fatimah Zahra (a.s.) said, “The morals of the Prophet (p.b.u.h) were Quranic. Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h) is an embodied and objective Quran,” added the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly.

“It is important that the Dar al-Hikma Center is decorated with Hikma (wisdom), and whoever is given wisdom, has been given a lot of good,” he said at the end of his speech.

At the end of the ceremony, congregational prayer was held under the imamate of Ayatollah Ramazani.
