ABWA’s Secretary General appreciated generous hospitality of Iraqi government, nation to Arbaeen pilgrims

In a letter to the Iraqi Prime Minister, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed gratitude to the government, the nation, and the Holy Shrines in the country for hosting Arbaeen pilgrims.

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): In a letter to the Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia’ Al Sudani, the Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly expressed gratitude to the government, the nation, and the Holy Shrines in the country for hosting Arbaeen pilgrims.

Ayatollah Reza Ramazani’s letter is as follows:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful

Mr. Dr. Mohammad Shia al-Sudani,

Honorable Prime Minister of Iraq

Peace (Salam) be upon you

I ask God for health, and success for you in the way of serving Islam and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.

It is a source of satisfaction to express my gratitude on behalf of myself, members of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt World Assembly, pilgrims of Imam Hussain (a.s.) from Iran, and also all the enthusiasts of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school to you and the Iraqi government and nation for magnificent, generous, and brotherly hospitality for pilgrims and followers of Imam Hussain (a.s.) during the Arbaeen Pilgrimage.

Once again, I would like to express my appreciation and gratitude to you and all the personnel of related government and security institutions, especially in the provinces of Najaf, Karbala, and other southern provinces and the holy shrines, and Hussaini Mowkebs for their diligent efforts during the presence of pilgrims in your prosperous country.

I ask God to protect the land of the Immaculate and Infallible Imams (a.s.) and Islamic holy places and to strengthen your steps in the service of the great Islamic Ummah and the AhlulBayt (a.s.) school.
