AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The chairman of Tehran's Jewish Association, Homayun Sameyah, referring to the freedom of the community of religious minorities in Iran, emphasized that the Jewish community has no problem to carry out religious and cultural practices and schools and organizations of Jews in Iran are freely engaged in activities.
Sameyah on the sidelines of the meeting of the 'Islamic Revolution and the Four Decades of Solidarity and Sympathy of the Followers of Monotheistic Religions' in an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) said, 'In Tehran, in addition to synagogues and special schools, we have youth organizations working in the framework of the law. Our young people can strive to advance their Jewish identity and the Islamic Republic has always supported us.'
She made the remarks in reaction to claims by the so-called Western human rights institutions concerning the violation of the rights of religious minorities in Iran
The chairman of Tehran's Jewish Association praised the positive role of the Charter Civilian Rights in recognizing the rights of Iranian Jewish citizens, and said, 'In Dr. Rouhani's government several problems were solved by the Jewish community, such as Saturday's closure of schools.
