AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Israeli forces detained at least seven Palestinians, including former prisoner, on predawn Sunday, during raids across the occupied West Bank.
Palestinian Prisoner’s Society (PPS) confirmed that Israeli forces detained one Palestinian in the southern West Bank district of Hebron. He was identified as Fahed Nader Tanineh, 23.
In the central West Bank district of Jerusalem al-Quds, Israeli forces detained three Palestinians. PPS identified them as Muhammad Mahmoud Edris along with his brother jalil Edris, and Khaled al-Zir.
In the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, Israeli forces detained two Palestinians. They were identified as Nimer Mahmoud Halaweh and Muhammad Zaki Majd, however, they were later released.
In the same district, Israeli forces detained another Palestinian, who was identified as former prisoner, Riad Daadas.
In the northern West Bank district of Tulkarem, PPS confirmed that two Palestinians were detained. They were identified as Ahmad Mustafa Nour, 19, and Anas Mazen Abu Aysha, 18.
According to Palestinian prisoners rights group Addameer, there are currently 5,640 Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons.
