Muslims Capable Enough to Crush ISIL

Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said the Muslim nations have the military power to wipe out the ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant) terrorist group.

Secretary of Iran's Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said the Muslim nations have the military power to wipe out the ISIL (Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant) terrorist group.

“Removing the ISIL sedition in the region is possible by the military forces of the Muslim countries, and we see no need for the interference of the alien forces in the Islamic territories,” Rezaei said in Saturday meeting with Jordan’s ambassador in Tehran.

The Iranian official also expressed his deep sympathy with the Jordanian nation for the tragic killing of a pilot by the ISIL militants in Syria.

Rezaei said the incident hurt the feeling of Muslims and strengthened their determination to annihilate the terrorist group.

The Jordanian envoy, for his part, thanked Iran for condemning the brutal murder.

On February 3, the ISIL terrorist group released a video showing Jordanian pilot, First-Lieutenant Moaz al-Kassasbeh, being burned alive inside a cage.

Iran’s Foreign Ministry later condemned the crime as “inhuman and un-Islamic”, highlighting responsibility of all sides that played effective role in reinforcing terrorist groups regarding the crime.
It also reiterated the necessity for avoiding a selective approach toward the issue of terrorism.
