The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) at night Wednesday killed a 30-year-old Palestinian man during an attack in the southern West Bank city of al-Khalil.
Kamel al-Jundi succumbed to his wounds after an IOF troop targeted him with randomly shot-barrages of live ammunition near the Gush Etzion illegal settlement, to the north of al-Khalil city.
The attack took place while Kamel and a friend of his own were walking near the area.
Locals said there is still ambiguity as to whether Kamel’s accompanying friend sustained deadly wounds or was kidnapped by the IOF.
Large IOF patrols, who have been cordoning off the city, denied the Red Crescent crews access into the area to check up on the fate of the missing citizen.
