First summer camp for muslim children opened at the “Ak-Mechet’” mosque in Simferopol.
The Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Crimea together with the Crimean Tatar community and youth organizations are the organizers. The camp has been opened in order to attract children to learn the basics of Islam, correct Quran recitation, the history and traditions of the Crimean Tatars and Crimean Tatar literature.
Summer cultural, entertainment and educational camp will be opened in many towns and villages in the Crimea. Classes for children and teens will be held in the mosques on weekends throughout the summer.
