Pakistani Shia party asks Crime Investigation Department to name those targeting Shias

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen has asked the Superintendent of Police (SP) Crime Investigation Department (CID) Raja Umar Khitab to name the foreign country that is involved in targeted assassinations of Shia Muslims in Karachi. He also demanded action against the terrorists and pro-terrorist black sheep within the police.  “Akbar Hussain, a Shia religious scholar and custodian of an imambargah, was assassinated in a broad daylight on Thursday. SP Umer Khitab should tell Pakistani nation which foreign country got him assassinated and through whom,” said Allama Mukhtar Imami, provincial secretary general of the MWM Sindh chapter.He said in a statement issued from Wahdat House that by implicating innocent Shia youths in false cases, Raja Umar Khitab was trying to divert the attention of Pakistani nation from the ferocious takfiri terrorists such as Taliban, Lashkar-e-Jhangvi and Sipah-e-Sahaba that has been renamed as Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamaat.“The banned terrorist group has launched a malicious campaign against Islamic Republic of Iran that is a symbol of unity of Muslims. Sunni Muslims love Iranian leadership and nation” he said. Imami said that SP CID was directly involved in anti-Shia and anti-Iran malicious campaign and he was scared for his life because another SP CID embraced martyrdom but didn’t bow to the terrorists. After his assassination, SP CID Umar Khitab began targeting Shias in a bid to avoid similar reaction from outlawed terrorist outfits that Chaudhry Aslam faced.   Meanwhile, Allama Shaikh Hassan Salahuddin, another senior leader of the MWM led the namaz-e-janaza of Akbar Hussain.
