Al-Quds Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, said that its rocket attack on the Southern city of Asqalan on Sunday injured 7 Israelis.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - In a statement released on Sunday, al-Quds Brigades announced that it fired two Grad missiles on the Southern parts of the occupied Palestinian territories (Israel) on Sunday and injured 7 Zionists, the Lebanese satellite television Al-Manar reported.

Yesterday, the brigades announced that it had fired 107 missiles on sensitive Israeli sites in recent days, news reports said.

According to al-Manar TV, the attacks were launched after the Ezzedine al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian Hamas movement, fired over 724 missiles at Zionist positions. Al-Quds Brigades announced that its missiles have hit Zikim and Irez regions in the occupied territories.

It also confirmed that a Zionist settlement in Be'r Tofia was hit by its missiles fired from the Gaza Strip.

The missile attacks were launched after Israel started a new wave of aggressions against Gaza on Wednesday.

Over 54 people have been killed and more than 550 others injured in the new wave of Israeli attacks. At least 150 of those inured in the Israeli attacks are children.
