(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A poetry and essay-writing contest on Karbala and Imam Hussein's (AS) Uprising has been held in Turkey since October 17.
The competition will conclude on November 18 and winners will be awarded at a ceremony on November 24 and 25.
Poems and papers should be written on themes including Karbala, Ashura, Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), Imam Hussein (AS) and his children and companions, Hurriyat (freedom), Basirat (insight), Ezzat (honor), patience, loyalty, Jihad, martyrdom, martyr, thirst, Levant, Kufa, Yazid, Ibn-e Ziad, cruelty, ignorance, etc.
The works should be sent to the secretariat of the contest in Ankara or emailed to ehlibeytnuru@gmail.com or babialiilimvakfi@hotmail.com.
