(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Majid Namjou said on Sunday that presence of NAM representatives in Tehran is in fact an opportunity to ink memorandum of understanding and new contracts.
He said we will discuss different projects including hydro-power plant in Tajikistan.
The Iranian energy minister noted that the issues regarding construction of power plants in South America, Iraq, and Syria would also be discussed on the sidelines of the sessions.
The 16th summit of NAM member states will be held in the Iranian capital from August 26 to 31.
NAM is an international organization with 120 member states that is not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. Nearly two-thirds of the countries of the United Nations are also NAM members.
NAM is the biggest international organization after the United Nations General Assembly.
