Four-year-old child killed, two injured in Pakistan school attack

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A four-year-old child has been killed and two others wounded in an attack by suspected pro-Taliban militants on a school in Pakistan’s troubled Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province.The strike occurred in the Charganokaly area on Monday and the attackers managed to escape from the scene.“It was a hand grenade attack in which [a] four-year[-old] child lost his life and two others were injured,” told a police official.So far, no group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attacks, but Tehrik-e Taliban Pakistan (TTP) militants are the main suspects in the incident.Over the past several years, the militants have destroyed hundreds of schools especially in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.The TTP has banned female education in northwestern Pakistan in a move that has affected thousands of girls in the region and caused the number of enrolments to drop dramatically. /129
