Unidentified terrorists on Friday blew up a mosque in Tirah valley of Khyber tribal region, media reports said.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to reports, the mosque was completely destroyed in the blast; however, no loss of life was reported in the incident.

No group claimed responsibility for the attack. The government routinely blames militants for such attacks.

Several militant groups are active in Khyber tribal region, also the main supply route to Afghanistan.

Besides Tehrik-e-Taliban, there are Lashkar-e-Islam and Ansar-ul-Islam groups in the region. The Lashkar and Ansar are rivals and usually target each other.

Pakistani forces have launched several major operations against the militant group and cleared most of the area.
