Next Hamas-Fatah meeting on 18 December

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Hamas and Fatah delegates would meet in Cairo on 18 December to agree on a number of issues including formation of the elections committee, deputy political bureau chairman of Hamas Dr. Mousa Abu Marzouk said on Saturday.He told the PIC in an interview that the meeting would be followed by another one for all Palestinian factions on 20 December then a meeting for the Palestine liberation organization’s executive committee a couple of days later.Abu Marzouk said that the elections could be held without going into a crisis on the formation of a unity government, adding that the Palestinian factions would discuss the candidate for the post of premier of the unity government.Asked on the reported Hamas-Fatah agreement on popular resistance, the Hamas leader said that military resistance is the backbone of the resistance program and would never be relinquished as long as the Palestinian land remained under occupation./129
