(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Isfahan Seminary scholar and interpreter of the Noble Quran Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Faqih Emami passed away today, March 6.
He was born in 1354 Hijri (1935) into a family of scholars. His father Ayatollah Ataollah Faqih Emami was a great figure in Isfahan Seminary and a source of pride for the clergy in the city.
Ayatollah Seyyed Hassan Faqih Emami followed in his father’s footsteps and became a great Faqih (jurist). He taught for 34 years at Isfahan Seminary.
He played a great role in the development of Isfahan Seminary, promotion of religion, and defending the school of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS). He also had many students, some of whom are now great scholars.
Fiqh, Rijal, Logic, Hikmat (wisdom), Quran interpretation and Nahj-ul-Blaqah were among the subjects Ayatollah Faqih Emami taught in seminary.
