(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - IRI Ambassador to Syria, Hojjatolislam Sayyed Ahmad Mousavi told an international meeting in support of the Palestinian captives in Algiers that resistance was the sole option to free the captives from the claws of occupiers.
He regretted that the world has focused on the seized Israeli soldier Gilad Shalit while turning a blind eye on the thousands of Palestinian in captivity of the Zionist regime.
Mousavi also said the Islamic Republic of Iran was on the vanguard of efforts to free the captives.
Other speakers to the conference urged the world of Islam to get united against the arrogance efforts to sow disunity among Muslims.
100 international delegations have attended the conference among them 60 renowned personalities, including George Galloway and representative of Muslim minority in the French parliament.
A delegation from the Islamic Republic too has joined the conference, attended by senior activists in Palestinian affairs, Hussein Sheikholeslami and Mojtaba Rahmandoust.
The conference aims to discuss ways to support the Palestinian captives.
