Addressing the 4th general assembly of the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union on Monday, October 11, Ayatollah Mohammad Mohammadi Reyshahri added that if always the truth is upheld, the Islamic world’s situation will change for the better.
He regarded the motto of the assembly, which is “Together for Promotion of the Truth”, as very important and said seeking the truth should be the main priority of Islamic media.
We should get to a point in which the media of the Islamic world lead the way in promoting the truth and conveying the message of truth, he stressed.
Head of the Dar-ol-Hadith Institute urged the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union to form a committee to find ways for upholding the truth.
He also urged Islamic media to make efforts to lead people from darkness to light based on the teachings of the holy Quran.
Elsewhere in his speech, Ayatollah Reyshahri referred to the enemies’ plots to spread discord and divisiveness and said the Islamic media should promote Islamic unity and solidarity.
The 4th general assembly of the Islamic Radios and Televisions Union which started in Tehran on Sunday will close Today, October 12.
