(AhlulBayt News Agency) - The head of Hezbollah Juristic Council Sheikh Mohamad Yazbek said on Sunday that the Resistance party alongside the opposition forces wants a tribunal which seeks the truth, not a politicized tribunal which bases its verdict on testimonies made by false witnesses. Speaking during a religious ceremony in the southern town of Hzarta, Sheikh Yazbek wondered about the reasons of the campaigns and statements launched against the upcoming visit of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to Lebanon. While noting the Israeli enemy destroys and the Islamic Republic of Iran rebuilds, Sheikh Yazbek asked those who’re against the visit about the reasons of their fears from Iran. The Hezbollah official called on Lebanese politicians to stand united to face the plot and prevent those seeking to create strife and chaos in Lebanon of achieving their goals, warning that the American-Israeli project aims at fragmenting Lebanon and taking it into the abyss. Sheikh Yazebk also expressed regret for the Arab “silence” over Palestine, in reference to the Arab summit in Libya in which Arab leaders didn’t mention the Palestinian issue and ignored the project of creating a “Jewish State” in Palestine. “How can we speak of negotiations when we know that the United States is providing Israel with advanced weapons such as F-35 aircraft and selling Arabs expensive weapons with Israeli conditions?
