Dahw al-Ard is an important and virtuous day in Islamic beliefs; the day the earth emerged from the water and is known as a blessed time for worship, fasting, and drawing closer to God. In narrations, this day is linked to great events such as the births of Prophet Abraham (PBUH) and Prophet Jesus (PBUH), and in one narration it will be the day of the reappearance of Hazrat Hujjat (PBUH).
