Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf has warned the US and the Israeli regime against starting a war on Iran’s infrastructure, saying Iran will do the same if they go ahead with such a plot.
“If they start the war on infrastructure, we will undoubtedly target their infrastructure,” Qalibaf wrote in a post on his X account on Tuesday.
“The enemy should know that whatever they do, we will definitely have an appropriate and immediate response,” he said.
The parliament speaker further warned that “no evil goes unpunished,” saying that the Islamic Republic adheres to the principle of “an eye for an eye” without exception.
The United States and Israeli launched an unprovoked war on Iran on February 28, assassinating the former Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and top Iranian military commanders.
