Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf says Iran’s missile and drone power is only for legitimate defense against US and Israeli aggressors.
Ghalibaf made the remarks on Wednesday on his X account in a massage addressed to regional countries.
“We declare to friendly, brotherly, and neighboring countries that our missile and drone power is exclusively for legitimate defense in the face of American and Zionist aggressors,” he said.
The speaker expressed hope that days of cooperation return with the ending of “this sedition.”
The criminal regimes of the US and Israel attacked Iran on Saturday, February 28, in an unprovoked act of aggression, targeting sites across the country, including schools, hospitals, and sports halls.
Iran responded by launching missiles and drones at targets inside Israel as well as at American bases across the region.
