AhlulBayt News Agency: The Austrian Ambassador to Iraq, Andrea Nasi, praised the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine for presenting what he described as a distinguished model of humanitarian work, particularly in the medical and service sectors. His remarks came during his visit to the holy city of Karbala.
In a statement to the shrine’s official website, Ambassador Nasi said the visit marked his first trip to Karbala. He noted the significant development the city is witnessing, especially through the service and humanitarian projects carried out by the Imam Hussain Holy Shrine across multiple sectors.
He emphasized that the shrine stands out for dedicating all its resources to serving society with a high level of professionalism, adding that such efforts create promising opportunities for future cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
During his meeting with the shrine’s administration, the ambassador received a detailed briefing on completed and ongoing projects. He expressed admiration for their quality and advanced level of organization, stating that they reflect institutional expertise and a clear strategic vision centered on serving humanity.
The Imam Hussain Holy Shrine oversees a broad range of health, educational, social, and service initiatives aimed at strengthening Iraq’s service sector, in line with its commitment to delivering humanitarian programs that meet international standards.
