AhlulBayt News Agency: In a phone call with Emirati Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi urged regional unity in confronting Israeli aggression and preserving peace amid ongoing tensions.
According to IRNA, the two diplomats discussed recent developments following Israeli and U.S. military actions against Iran, with Araqchi condemning the attacks as illegal and destabilizing. He emphasized that such moves violate international law and the UN Charter and present serious threats to the security of the region.
Araqchi reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to peaceful neighborly relations—particularly with Persian Gulf states—and welcomed the responsible stances taken by regional nations in rejecting the recent escalation. He stressed that regional solidarity is crucial and warned that the aggression must not be allowed to sow discord among neighboring countries.
For his part, Sheikh Abdullah praised the strong bilateral ties between the UAE and Iran and underlined the importance of collective efforts to maintain peace and long-term regional stability.
