AhlulBayt News Agency: The Scientific Complex of the Holy Quran at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine continues to implement its summer courses and educational programs while commemorating religious occasions across various provinces of Iraq.
In the holy province of Karbala, students participating in the summer Quranic courses commemorated Eid al-Ghadir under the supervision of the Quranic Institute affiliated with the Scientific Complex.
The ceremony took place at the Al-Alqami Complex, affiliated with the holy shrine, and was attended by professors and students with the goal of instilling religious values in the participants.
The Holy Quran Institute in Karbala also organized a recreational trip for students of the summer Quranic courses, including a visit to Al-Kafeel Nurseries, affiliated with the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine, to break the academic routine and develop social and life skills.
In Najaf Ashraf, students of the Quranic Institute renewed their pledge of loyalty to Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (peace be upon him) in a joyous celebration organized by the Najaf Ashraf Institute. The event featured Quranic recitations and chants, with students actively participating to enhance religious identity and teamwork.
The Holy Quran Institute – Babel Branch, affiliated with the Scientific Complex, has begun conducting final exams for students enrolled in recitation and Tajweed courses at various levels, from preliminary to advanced.
More than 500 students from different districts of the governorate participated in the exams, supervised by specialized scientific committees to ensure accurate evaluation and prepare proficient Quranic talents.
As part of efforts to monitor the progress of the summer Quranic courses, a delegation from the Scientific Complex arrived in Al-Diwaniyah Governorate to assess the services provided. Dr. Balasim Al-Shammari, the administrative assistant to the head of the complex, conducted a field tour of several summer Quranic courses in the governorate.
Al-Shammari praised the efforts of the educational staff and parents, emphasizing the importance of a Quranic environment in shaping a conscious personality rooted in Islamic values.
In Kirkuk, 750 students are receiving Quranic lessons as part of the summer courses project in the Taz Khurmatu district.
The courses are held in 10 mosques under the supervision of 27 specialized teachers, covering Quran recitation and memorization, jurisprudence, creed, ethics, and the biography of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
The program lasts 40 days and targets students aged 7 to 16 years, aiming to build a cultured Quranic generation.
The Scientific Academy of the Holy Quran has developed special curricula within a systematic scientific program to fill students' time with beneficial activities, ensuring the upbringing of a righteous generation that loves the Holy Quran and adheres to Islamic teachings according to the methodology of the Ahl al-Bayt (peace be upon them).
