Pakistan declares full support for Iran against Israeli aggression

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif condemned Israel’s attack on Iran, calling for unity among Muslim nations.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif expressed his country’s unwavering support for Iran in the face of Israeli attacks, calling for unity among Muslim nations.

During a parliamentary session on Saturday, Asif condemned the recent Israeli strike on Iran, which targeted military facilities and resulted in the deaths of military commanders and civilians.

He emphasized that Iran is Pakistan’s neighbor and that the two nations share centuries-old ties.

“In this time of trial, we stand by Iran in every way. We will protect Iranian interests. Iranians are our brothers, and their grief and pain are shared,” Asif stated.

He warned that Israel’s aggression extends beyond Iran, also targeting Yemen and Palestine, underscoring the urgent need for unity in the Muslim world.

“If we remain silent and disunited today, then everyone will be targeted eventually,” he cautioned.

Asif called for an emergency meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), urging Muslim nations to unite against Israeli actions.

He pointed out that even non-Muslim populations in the West are protesting against Israel, stating, “Their conscience has awakened—unlike the Muslim world.”

The defense minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s long-standing position, highlighting that the country has never recognized Israel nor established diplomatic relations.

He urged all Muslim nations to sever ties with Israel, stating that its hands are stained with the blood of Muslims and must be rejected.
