(AhlulBayt News Agency) - Iran will extradite 251 Afghan prisoners to their country based on the bilateral agreements between the two countries for extradition of prisoners, Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular Affairs Hassan Qashqavi said.
He said that Tehran is ready to send back 251 Afghan prisoners to their homeland by the end of summer to pass their jail terms there. Deputy foreign minister said in the meantime that 21 Iranian nationals imprisoned in Afghanistan were returned back to Iran on Sunday to pass their jail terms here.
Two more Iranian prisoners are expected to return home in the days to come based on the bilateral agreements for extradition of prisoners reached between Tehran and Kabul, he added.
