(AhlulBayt News Agency) - A Quran recitation session was organized this week in Majar Al-Kabir town of Maysan Governorate in southern Iraq.
According to Qaaf news agency, the "Al-Zahra” Quranic Group of the region organized the program attended by a number of eminent Iraqi figures.
Hisam Al-Talhan, a Qari from Maysan, recited some verses of the Quran at the beginning of the program.
The problems facing Quranic activities in Maysan were discussed in a seminar held on the sidelines of the session.
The program concluded with Quran recitation by Jalal Al-Bahadeli, another Qari of the region.
The Quranic session in Majar Al-Kabir is held with the participation of Quran experts every week aiming to develop Quranic activities in Maysan Governorate.
